Markyate villagers will be holding their annual plant sale, with vegetables, perennials and over 7,000 seedlings ready for sale at the popular Markyate Plant Sale.
It’s a chance for enthusiasts to buy bedding plants and perennials and exchange ideas with the knowledgeable village horticulturists.
The potted plants include over 50 varieties of annuals, including some new to the sale, such as the chocolate scented Chocolate Cosmos or the bright yellow mercadonia.
Visitors can complete their visit with a cup of coffee or tea and a home-baked cake in the picturesque gardens of 64 High Street.
Last year the event, which is free to attend, raised moe than £7,000 for The Hospice of St Francis.
