Aboriginal Dot Work Workshop
Tuesday 12th April, 9.30am – 12.30pm
£24 per head

Recommended for 8 yrs+, under 8’s must require adult supervision

Join us for a workshop on beautiful, cultural Aboriginal artwork! Learn about the amazing history of the Aboriginal race, touching on how art plays a huge part of recording history. Using the aboriginal practice of using dreams and storytelling to inform their art, we will adopt the methods they used and create 2 pieces of dot work painting – 1 on fabric and 1 on canvas/card. We will be working as a group and individually and experimenting with colour, texture and concept. This workshop was very popular in the last school holidays and lots of great artwork was created whilst having lots of fun!

Please note that we will supply squash and biscuits for all workshops, but you are welcome to bring additional food if you wish.
